The choice of a surgical facility will be one of the most important considerations as you contemplate cosmetic surgery. We are located in the prestigious Ximed Medical Building next door to Scripps Hospital. At Sadrian Cosmetic Surgery not only will you find a beautiful and elegant atmosphere, you will find an immaculately maintained center accredited by the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF). This accreditation certifies that the facility meets nationally recognized standards through an accreditation program operated by the medical professional experts who set and evaluate the standards. Out anesthesia is administered by A.S.M.G. a select group of M.D. anesthesiologists. These physicians are board certified and frequently hold additional certification in another specialty as well. Our surgical center is equipped with all the necessary devices to monitor your vital signs in both the operating and recovery room.
Getting Started
Dr. Sadrian and our patient coordinators can do the initial consultation via email and photographs (like the ones on our website). If you cannot get into our office two weeks prior to your surgery, we ask that you send your photos for the doctor to review before your initial consultation. You may email us at sadriancoordinator@yahoo.com to find out more about sending in photographs for different procedures for Dr. Sadrian to review. Dr. Sadrian will give you a surgical plan and quote based on what he will recommend after reviewing your photographs. We will discuss necessary paperwork and laboratory tests (CBC and EKG over 50 years) that will be needed two weeks prior to your surgery.
We can set up post operative care at exclusive overnight facilities such as The HideAway Recovery Retreat or at several hotels very close to our office. All of the hotels listed are conveniently located in La Jolla or Del Mar very close to our office and surgical suite. Some of the hotels listed may offer a Scripps Rate (this is a discounted rate on your hotel room). Our office is located 20 minutes from San Diego International Airport and Minutes from San Diego attractions such as The San Diego Zoo, Sea World, World Famous Beaches, Torrey Pines Golf Course and beautiful La Jolla.

Located in La Jolla, this is an elegant, private, fully equipped spa-type setting for you to rest and relax in your cosmetic surgery post-operative period. Booking Your Surgery
Once Dr. Sadrian reviews your photo's and our patient coordinator puts together a surgical quote based on Dr. Sadrian's recommendations for you, we will discuss available surgical dates that will work for you. We require a $500 deposit to hold a date in our operating room. The balance is due two weeks prior to surgery as well as any necessary lab work. We will set up your surgery date and a pre-operative date at this time. We will discuss your pre-operative checklist at this time. Our Patient Coordinator will help you to arrange your hotel or after care plan, book your surgery and pre and post operative visits. Your Pre-Operative Appointment
We ideally like to schedule the pre-operative appointment two weeks prior to your surgery. If this is not possible we ask that you be available at least two days prior to your surgery for the pre-operative appointment. This appointment is an hour visit and you will meet with Dr. Sadrian to finalize the surgical plan and prepare you for surgery. You will need to have your CBC and or EKG (over 50 years of age) completed by this appointment. Please let our patient coordinator know if you will be faxing in your results from these tests. We will need you to refrain from taking Vitamin E, aspirin and any anti-inflammatory drugs at least two weeks prior to your surgery. Please stop smoking 4-6 weeks prior to your face, tummytuck or breast surgery.
Day of Surgery
You will be in the hands of Dr. Sadrian and his experienced surgical team. We will need someone at least 18 years or older (responsible adult) to pick you up from surgery and stay with you. If you are coming in alone to town, you must have arrangements made with an aftercare facility. You must plan on having help for the first week after your surgery and maybe longer. You will not be driving yourself to and from your visits or if you are on pain medication after surgery. The length of time that we will ask you to stay during your recovery will vary depending on the procedure you are having. Dr. Sadrian generally likes patients to stay in town for at least two weeks after surgery and maybe three weeks for facial and tummytuck procedures. When you return to your home, we will want you to stay in touch with our office and please email us or call if questions should arise. You are always welcome back for follow up visits when in town.
